Peter’s trade as an industrial electrician led him to work out how a motorcycle generator works and has now been repairing/rebuilding hundreds of generators for over 20 years both Indian, Harley and other brands.
When it was realised, there was a need for regulators and to compliment the generators, Peter and an electrical engineer named Phil, started designing a regulator. From this come the “adjustable 6-12 volt solid state regulator”, which allows us to build a generator to 12volt as standard, then set the regulator voltage from 6v-14v DC.
Indian Engineering has a wide range of parts and fittings to repair generators as well as full rebuilds and testing.
Both Mason and Peter can also repair/rebuild and service magnetos.
